Systems Programmer 

 

For our studio in Utrecht, the Netherlands, we're looking for a highly collaborative, passionate, and skilled Systems Programmer to support our game teams in improving our tools and game systems for upcoming AAA titles. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Designing and writing well-structured, readable and maintainable code
  • Participate in a team working on a large code base
  • Using optimization techniques to ensure the game runs smoothly
  • Solving challenging technical issues with/in the team

 

Essential Requirements: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of previous experience as a programmer in the games industry or a related industry
  • A pragmatic, hands-on, problem-solving mentality
  • Fluency in C++ and other applicable programming languages
  • Strong debugging skills
  • Thorough understanding of code performance and complexity
  • Ability to work well in a deadline and milestone driven environment
  • Positive attitude and a genuine team player
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Good communication skills in written and spoken English
  • Must live in the Netherlands, this is not a remote role
