JOB PURPOSE:

We’re currently recruiting a Senior Fullstack Engineer who’d love to join the fun! This role will get to work closely with cross-disciplinary squads to create best-in-class digital products for our clients. You are motivated, take pride in excellence and enjoy Backend and Frontend development. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in a cross-functional and agile environment, developing high-quality software and architecture.
• Ensure the technical quality and on-time delivery of digital solutions to meet the client's needs.
• Identify, prioritise and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting.
• Review and debug code and perform validation and verification testing where appropriate.   
• Ensure effective documentation and communication of knowledge and system processes.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to fix and improve products.

SKILLS AND PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE: 

We are looking for someone with extensive experience as a Senior Full Stack Engineer who can show us examples of products previously shipped. In addition, you’ll have: 

• Significant Full Stack Development experience with a focus on back-end development and DevOps. DevSecOps experience is a plus.
• Experience with the AWS hosting environment and associated technologies such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, and CDK. 
• Strong knowledge of selected programming languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with C# and Python is helpful.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as Vue.js and Nuxt. React experience is a plus.
• Worked with Strapi CMS and Node.js
• Experience with serverless, microservices and integrating with third-party systems
• Strong knowledge of data, privacy and application security
• Previously worked in a cross-disciplinary team with experience leading an engineering effort
• Worked in (or familiar with) an Agile environment
• Experience and a keen interest in the overall business context and building great user experiences for clients
