As a Senior Graphics Engineer at Bungie, you will help create a joyful graphical experience for millions of players. You will work closely with artists to bring to life a buoyant, playful visual style that champions gameplay readability. Most importantly, you will work with a fun, dedicated, cross-discipline team united around our mission to create a positive impact in people's lives as we bring a new Bungie world to life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, build, extend, document, and maintain graphics features and associated tools and workflows in Unreal Engine, with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate daily with a cross-disciplinary team to realize the artistic vision for the game.
  • Provide strategic input for the scalability and performance of proposed game features across multiple platforms.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Ability to write, debug, optimize, and maintain production-quality C++ and HLSL code.
  • Proficiency in 3D math, data structures, and algorithms
  • Familiarity with industry-standard graphics techniques
  • Ability to communicate with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to help them navigate technology and achieve their goals.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience with the Unreal Engine graphics
  • Experience with mobile graphics development
  • Experience leading technical projects
