Fully Listings and Liquidity Provider Manager at VALR
Purpose of the job:
As the Listings and Liquidity Provider Manager for VALR, your mission is to enhance the platform's market reach and liquidity by managing the listing process for new cryptocurrencies and fostering relationships with liquidity providers. You will play a pivotal role in expanding the exchange's asset offerings, improving market depth, and attracting a diverse range of traders and investors.
What will you be doing:
Cryptocurrency Listings:
- Identify, prioritise, and plan listings, taking ownership of the “roadmap”.
- Manage the end-to-end process of listing new cryptocurrencies on the exchange.
- Collaborate with blockchain projects and engineering teams to assess eligibility for listing.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including legal and compliance, to ensure listings comply with regulatory requirements.
Liquidity Provider Relationships:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with liquidity providers, including market makers and institutional participants.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with liquidity providers to ensure optimal market depth and liquidity.
- Work closely with the trading and operations teams to address any liquidity-related issues promptly.
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify potential listings and liquidity enhancement strategies.
- To inform decision-making, stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Collaborate with the trading and growth teams to align listing and liquidity strategies with overall business goals.
Regulatory Compliance:
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes affecting listings and liquidity provision.
- Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure adherence to global regulatory standards.
- Implement compliance protocols for new listings and liquidity partnerships.
Enhance Exchange Offerings:
- Recommend strategies to enhance the exchange's product offerings and market attractiveness.
- Collaborate with the technology team to ensure a seamless trading experience for users.
- Implement measures to improve the trading experience and satisfaction of users.
What we look for in you:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cryptocurrency exchange operations, with a focus on listings and liquidity.
- In-depth knowledge of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and various consensus mechanisms.
- Proven track record of successful cryptocurrency listings and liquidity provider relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
