Merchandise Planner at SupplyHouse.com

SupplyHouse.com, a fast growing and successful e-commerce company, is looking for a new Merchandise Planner to join our Merchandise Planning Team!

This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.

A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.

Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Location: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin)

Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. EST. However, there is some flexibility as per our Flex-Time Policy.

Salary: $70,000-80,000 (Annually)

Responsibilities:

• Creation of financial plans, open to buy forecasting of sales, margin, receipts, and inventory 
• Recap and analyze actual sales results to plan, forecasts in-season sales and receipts on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis 
• Analyze historical data and current trends to identify risks and opportunities in assigned subcategories and/or brands 
• Design and prepare reporting to translate business results and metrics into insightful analysis and recommendations 
• Conduct both scheduled and ad hoc merchandise analysis, react and recommend timely action on product, and partner with Demand Planning and Category Merchandising on execution 
• Collaborate with Demand Planning and Category Management to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns future financial and product opportunities for assigned product groups 
• Keep on top of knowledge of products, current events, and impactful information 

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Merchandising 
• Ability to review and process large volumes of data 
• Strong organizational skills and a high attention to detail 
• Basic statistical analysis and data manipulation skills 
• Ability to work well both independently and in a team setting
