Technical Project Manager at SupplyHouse.com
SupplyHouse.com, a rapidly growing e-commerce plumbing and HVAC supply company, is searching for a Senior Project Manager to join our Customer Experience team! This is a high-profile role critical to executing a wide variety of large, complex customer experience projects on our digital platforms. This is a remote-based role within select states in the United States. At this time, we are only able to employ those located in the following states: Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin
This position will require travel to our NY office headquarters up to three times per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company. Additionally, our offices are always available for staff to use as much as desired.
A company laptop and other necessary equipment will be provided along with a $250 stipend for your work from home space.
Role Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Location: Remote (Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin)
Schedule: Standard business hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. ET. However, we provide flexibility based on local time zones and our Flex-Time Policy.
Salary: $80,000-100,000 (Annually)
Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide project teams while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, and a willingness to mentor more junior team members and share knowledge
- Be accountable for meeting project timelines and keeping the project on track
- Manage developers projects throughout the execution phase to ensure success, as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline
- Coordinate various stakeholders and technical team members during project phases from initial kickoff through migration, implementation, customization, and support
- Coordinate and manage projects across our Customer Experience team, playing a key role in executing projects to enhance our e-commerce website and mobile app experience
- Create and manage product plans, build out roadmaps, and establish key milestones to ensure project deadlines are met
- Drive momentum by tracking progress, adjusting schedules, and delegating tasks
- Measure overall project performance to identify areas for improvement
- Demonstrate exceptional meeting facilitation skills, with a proven ability to foster attendee participation and collaboration in both small and large groups
- Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
- Communicate proactively with all those involved to provide accountability, identify problems, create solutions, and implement efficiency improvements
- Demonstrate the ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred concentrations in Business Administration, Project Management, or another related field)
- 4+ years of experience in project and resource management, specifically with development teams (experience within the e-commerce or technology sector is preferred)
- Knowledge of and experience with different project management frameworks, including waterfall and agile
- Experience in managing the delivery of customer-facing and internally-facing products or services
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to multi-task and reprioritize as needed
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Eagerness to take ownership of projects and show initiative
- Strong attention to detail and a high bar of excellence
- Ability to maintain a positive, can-do attitude in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working as a developer or collaborating closely with developers
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with FE and BE technology stacks (ex. React, microservices, etc.)
- Familiarity with Atlassian products (ex. JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
- Experience serving as a scrum master, CSM
- Experience with project management software
